Dealer's Room

A NOTE ON THE DEALER'AS ROOM: The two BIG dealer activity days at Cinevent are Friday and Saturday, and after mid-day on Sunday dealers gradually begin to break down to go home. By Monday morning the remaiing dealer activity may be down to 20% of the original volume. Those who attend for the entire weekend are used to this behavior and plan their shopping activities accordingly. The main point we wish to make here is:

If you are coming to Cinevent ONLY to shop the dealer's rooms, plan on attending on Friday or Saturday!

We also recommend allowing more than just an hour or two - first of all the amount of material available at the show is such that you can't check it all out if you don't have enough time. Secondly, dealers my close their tables for meals, to attend part of the auction or for many other reasons at any time during the show. If you allow enought time to do our dealer's room justice, you won't be disappointed because the dealer you wanted to see (especially!) happend to be closed for the hour you allowed for your attendance! Besides, it's more fun when you can take some time a socialize with the other attendees and with the dealers - they're a great bunch of people.
